LiveWell Colorado’s community investment strategy funds community coalitions working on healthy eating and active living strategies at the local level. In 2010, LiveWell Colorado awarded $3.7 million in funding to 22 communities across the state. In addition to financial support provided through a unique up to nine year funding cycle, LiveWell Colorado provides technical assistance and opportunities for shared learnings and collaborations. Since 2005, the community investments program has directly benefited more than a million Coloradans.
