Request for Proposals

LiveWell@Work Project Manager

GENERAL INFORMATION
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to obtain proposals from qualified firms and individuals interested in serving as the project manager for a LiveWell Colorado worksite wellness initiative, LiveWell@Work. The contract is for February through August 2012, with the possibility of continuation.

LiveWell@Work is a new initiative recently created by LiveWell Colorado’s executive-level Worksite Wellness Leadership Group (Leadership Group). After a competitive nomination and selection process, the WWLG first convened in April 2011. Over the past several months, the group has clarified their purpose and priorities, crafted a compelling case for employers to embrace healthy eating and active living, and designed a program to build a movement around making the healthy choice the easy choice at Colorado worksites.

The chosen project manager will oversee the LiveWell@Work initiative, including the implementation of a pilot program and development of an online tool box, as well as facilitation and coordination of meetings and various volunteers. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience coordinating complex projects and facilitating diverse groups of stakeholders; strong research, presentation and writing skills; and, preferably, familiarity with worksite wellness policies and practices. LiveWell Colorado seeks a project manager that is results-oriented and a creative problem-solver.

Proposals should be submitted electronically to contact@livewellcolorado.org by Monday, January 30th, 2012.
